Learned Counsel submits that in both these matters, validation proceedings in respect of tribe claim of the petitioners are pending with the Committee since the year 2010 and 2013. It is not being decided. 2.

Learned AGP accepts notice for the respondents and submits that if the proceedings are pending, the Committee would decide the same on its own merit.

Considering the fact that the proceedings are pending since many years, the Committee shall endeavour to decide the validation proceedings in respect of tribe claim of the petitioners expeditiously, preferably within nine months.

The petitioner shall cooperate in expeditious disposal of the proceedings. The petitioner shall appear before the Committee on 18.12.2017. The writ petitions are disposed of. No costs.
