The petitioner merely seeks a direction to the respondent-Special Land Acquisition Officer to forward a reference preferred by her under Section 18 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894, which is apparently pending with his office since 2007. A copy of the application annexed to the petition (Exh. '

A') shows that it is a photo copy of the certified copy purportedly issued by the Land Acquisition Officer on 22.11.2022 and also bears acknowledgment of his office about having received the original application on 27.02.2007.

We dispose of the writ petition by directing the respondent Nos. 2 and 3 to forward the reference to the Civil Court, as soon as possible and in any event within three weeks from today.
