Respondents are absent though served. This indicates that they have no intention to oppose the application. 3.

This appeal is filed for enhancement of compensation in compulsory acquisition of the land belonging to the appellants.

- 2 - Denial of interest for the delay caused in filing of the appeal shall meet the ends of justice.

Learned counsel for appellants makes a statement on instructions that the appellants will not claim any interest on the enhanced amount if granted till filing of the application. 5.
