The learned advocate for the petitioner submits on instructions that though the petitioner has prayed for a writ of mandamus that she should be promoted, she would not press the said relief as the representation dated 03.01.2022 is pending before respondent nos.3 and 4. 2.

The learned advocate representing respondent nos.3 and 4 submits that a writ of mandamus to promote a candidate cannot be issued unless it is pointed out that there has been a suppression. 3.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off. We expect respondent nos.3 and 4 to deal with the representation of the petitioner dated
