By this Petition, the petitioner is seeking direction to Respondent No.2- Committee to decide the caste claim of the petitioner which is pending since 05.07.2018.

Considering the fact that the employer of the petitioner has called upon the petitioner to submit his caste validity certificate, failing which the services of the petitioner would be brought to an end, we direct Respondent No.2 - Committee to decide the caste claim of the petitioner within a period of six (6) months from today. 4.

Till the caste claim of the petitioner is decided by the Committee, the employer of the petitioner shall not take any coercive action against the petitioner solely on the ground that the petitioner has not submitted the caste validity certificate.

It is made clear that the protection granted by this Court will operate only till the caste claim of the petitioner be decided. 6.
