Learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the directions of this Court (Coram : N.M.Jamdar, J.), dated 26.11.2018, the nomination form of the petitioner was accepted. He contested the elections of the concerned Municipal Corporation and has been unsuccessful in the said elections. This Court had observed that if the petitioner is successful in the elections, the aggrieved parties were at liberty to prefer an Election Petition. It is, therefore, stated that as the petitioner has lost the elections, he seeks liberty to withdraw this petition.

None appears for respondents 2 to 4. Learned AGP has no objection for the disposal of this petition.
