Date : 26 November 2018.

Oral Order :

1.

By this petition, petitioner has challenged rejection of his nomination paper.

2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that rejection of nomination paper of the petitioner was incorrect as the petitioner had duly filled in the form and had signed at concerned places. 3.

Learned counsel appearing for the Election Commission,

dyb 2 WP12884-18dt 26-11-2018 on instructions from the Returning Officer, states that in the affidavit there is no signature of the deponent. Copy of nomination form of the petitioner is shown.

In these circumstances and considering that the petitioner has alternate remedy of filing election petition, no interference is warranted in writ jurisdiction. Writ Petition is accordingly rejected. N.M. Jamdar, J.
