The applicant, who has been convicted by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Jalgaon vide judgment and order dated 18/11/2015 passed in Special (A.C.B.)
2 Cr. Appln. 6602/2015 Case No. 16 of 2014, for the offences punishable under section 7, 13(1)(d) r/w. 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and sentenced to suffer simple imprisonment for 2 years and to pay fine of Rs.10,000/-, in default to suffer simple imprisonment for 3 months for the offence punishable under section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and to suffer simple imprisonment for 2 years and to pay fine of Rs.10,000/-, in default to suffer simple imprisonment for 3 months for the offences punishable under section 13(1)(d) r/w. 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, with a direction to run both sentences concurrently, is praying for suspension of the substantive sentences during the pendency of the appeal and his release on bail.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that fine amount is already deposited.

Considering the short term sentences awarded to the applicant/appellant, the substantive sentences are hereby suspended. The applicant be released on bail, upon his execution of P.R. bond in the sum of
3 Cr. Appln. 6602/2015 Rs.20,000/- (Rs. Twenty Thousand) and also upon furnishing surety in the like amount.

Application stands disposed of accordingly.
