Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner. 2.

While issuing notice to the respondents, this Court referred to the order dated 27.04.2018, whereby the Scrutiny Committee was directed to decide the validation proceedings within a stipulated period of four months from the date of appearance of the petitioner. 3.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for respondent No. 2, on instructions, submitted that before the Scrutiny Committee, the claim of the petitioner as well as the claim of father

2 34-CP-912-2018 of the petitioner is pending. The father of the petitioner sought time to file reply before the Scrutiny Committee and accordingly, the Scrutiny Committee fixed the date for submitting reply on 27.11.2019. It is also submitted by the learned Assistant Government Pleader that on receipt of the reply by the petitioner as well as her father, the Scrutiny Committee would decide the claim expeditiously.

Accepting the statement, the present contempt petition is disposed of with a direction to the Scrutiny Committee that as and when the petitioner and her father submits reply before the Scrutiny Committee, the Scrutiny Committee to decide the claim of the petitioner and her father within a period of eight weeks from the date of submission of reply to the Scrutiny Committee. 5.
