CORAM: RAVINDRA V. GHUGE, J.
DATE :- 19th October, 2018 Per Court:
I find that the Petitioner has directly approached this Court for challenging the order dated 24.10.2017 passed by the Additional Divisional Commissioner in the first revision under Section 257 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966.
The Honourable Supreme Court has laid down the law in the matter of Gurudassing Nawoosing Panjwani vs. State of Maharashtra
*2* 937wp13857o17 and others, 2016 (2) SCC 213, that a statutory second revision would be available under Section 257 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966.
Considering the above, this Writ Petition is disposed of with liberty as aforesaid.
In the event, the Petitioner approaches the revisional authority within four weeks from today, the mutation entry, if effected pursuant to the impugned order, shall be subject to the result of the second revision proceedings. The time spent by the Petitioner in this Court from 14.11.2017 till the passing of this order today, shall be a good ground for condonation of delay.
The pending Civil Application does not survive and stands disposed of.
