Learned counsel for respondent no. 5 submits that, respondent no. 5 would forward the proposal for correction of date of birth to the Education Officer.

On receipt of the proposal, the Education Officer shall take decision upon it after considering all the record as spelt out in Clause 26.4 of The Secondary School Code read with Appendix -

2 wp 14896.17 VI on its own merits. It shall not be rejected only on the ground that the petitioner has left the school. The same shall be done expeditiously preferably by 10th June, 2018.
