The petitioner is seeking direction to the respondent No.2 to take decision on his application for renewal of license under the Rules of Licensing and Controlling Places of Public Amusements (other than Cinemas) and Performances for Public Amusement, including Cabaret Performances, Discotheque, Games, Pool Game, Parlours, Amusement Parlours providing Computer Games, Virtual Reality Games, Cyber Cafes, Games with Net Connectivity, Bowling Alleys, Card, Rooms, Social Clubs, Sports Clubs, Meals and Tamashas Rules, 1960.

The learned AGP, on instructions, submits that appropriate order would be passed on the petitioner's application by 31.12.2022.

In view of such statement, nothing survives in the present writ petition.
