By the present application, the applicant - Saibaba Sansthan Trust seeks permission to appoint the consultant for preparation of project report with regard to development activities for celebrating the centenary. 3.

The learned Asst. Government Pleader has placed on record the communication received by him stating that for the said celebration of the centenary year for development of Shirdi, funds are sought to be made available and for that purpose, proposal is being submitted to the Central Government. The same would be for various projects. It is further communicated that within three months the Managing Committee would be constituted and thereafter the Scrutiny Committee would be appointed.

The present application is seeking permission to appoint Tata Consulting Engineers Ltd., Noida, for submitting Project Report on development of Shirdi and adjoining villages in connection with Shri Saibaba Maha Samadhi Shatbdi Mahotsav (01-10-2017 to 19-10-2018). Naturally, if the funds are received from the Central Government, the applicant would spend the said funds for the said development activities as would be proposed in the Project Report. It is also submitted that the said Tata Consulting Engineers Limited has given lowest tender.
