The Petitioner is present in the Court. He confesses that he has not let this Court know that there are First Information Reports registered against him for numerous offences. In fact, he has declared in this PIL that no civil or criminal proceeding involving him, is pending. This fact was brought to our notice by the learned Advocate for the Applicants, who have sought intervention.

The learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits, on instructions, that the Petitioner desires to withdraw this petition. 3.

In view of the above, this Public Interest Litigation is dismissed as withdrawn without any liberty to initiate similar proceedings.

The pending Civil Applications would not survive and stand disposed off.
