.....

Shri S.A. Gaikwad, Advocate for petitioner.

Shri S.B. Joshi, AGP for respondent no.1.

Shri A.D. Aghav, Advocate for respondent no.2. .....

CORAM: V.M. KANADE & SANGITRAO S.PATIL,JJ.

DATE: 24.01.2017 ORDER :

1] Heard learned counsel appearing for the parties. 2] The petitioner is taking objection to the appointment of respondent as a Guest Instructor. The State Government has taken a policy decision to appoint certain experts in the field as Guest Instructors, particularly in the field of arts, sports and work experience. As per the said policy, the school management committee is authorized to make their

WP 12704/16 - 2 - appointments under Clause 12.

According to the petitioner, the appointment is to be made by all the members of the committee.

3] We do not find any substance in the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner. We have perused the order of appointment. It clearly states that a meeting of the school management committee was convened on 28.9.2016 and in that meeting, the said decision was taken. No objection has been raised by those who were present in the said meeting. More over, the petitioner has no locus standi in challenging the appointment of the respondent no.4. Viewed from any angle, we do not see any merit in the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner. The petition is dismissed. No costs.
