The petitioner has twin grievances in the present petition viz. non grant of time bound promotion for the post of Civil Engineering Assistant and for non release of his pension and other pensionary benefits. So far as the latter grievance is concerned, both the learned Counsels appearing for the parties are ad-idem that all the retirement benefits of the petitioner have already been released and the now the petitioner has no grievance about the same. 2.
So far as the former grievance of non grant of time bound promotion in the scale of Civil Engineering Assistant is concerned, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if he is granted an opportunity to make a
913wp14282.17 detailed representation with regard to the grievance of time bound promotion. Accordingly, we grant liberty to the petitioner to make a suitable representation to respondent Nos. 2 and 3 in respect of his grievance for grant of time bound promotion to the post of Civil Engineering Assistant within four weeks from today. If such representation is made, respondent Nos. 2 and 3 would take a decision on the same, within a period of six weeks thereafter. 3.
Mr. Shelke, appearing for respondent No. 2 is agreeable for such arrangement and submits that if such representation is made, respondent Nos. 2 and 3 are willing to decide the same on its own merits.

We make it clear that we have not made any observations on merits of the matter and all the issues raised in the petition are kept open.

The Writ Petition is disposed of.
