The petitioner is aggrieved by the impugned order dated 25/11/2016, which is subject to a challenge in the Second Appeal preferred by the petitioner under Section 247 of the MLR Court before respondent No. 1, same is still pending for almost one year. He, therefore, submits that the petitioner may be granted some relief in this matter, considering his age of 70 years or respondent No. 1 be directed to decide the pending proceedings. 2.

Learned AGP, submits that since the Second Appeal is pending, the same can be disposed of within six months, as it is said to be pending from 22/02/2017.

In the light of the above, this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 1, that the pending appeal preferred by

the petitioner on 22/02/2017, be disposed of after following the due procedure and upon hearing all the litigating sides, expeditiously and preferably on/or before the 30/06/2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would appear before respondent No. 1/authority on 03/02/2018 at 3.00 p.m. Said request is accepted.
