The present application is filed for quashing the complaint bearing Crime No. 21/2015, registered at Sillod (Rural) Police Station for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 504, 506 read with Sec. 34 of the Indian Penal Code. 2.

Mr. Joshi, the learned counsel appears for the respondent No. 2 and submits that, the parties have reconciled the matter and now the respondent No. 2 and accused No. 1 i. e. applicant No. 1 are residing together and they have settled the matter. The learned counsel for applicants also accept the said fact.

Though the offence punishable U/Sec. 498-A of the I. P. Code is not compoundable, still considering the fact that, the parties have now settled the matter as stated and are residing together and have resolved all their dispute and differences, it would be in the fitness of things to accept the said settlement. 4.

The applicant No. 1 and the respondent No. 2 are present before the Court. The respondent No. 2 admits that contents of the affidavit. They are identified by their respective counsel. Considering the above, the F. I. R. bearing Cr. No. 21/2015 registered with Sillod (Rural) Police Station for the offences punishable U/Sec. 498-A, 504, 506 r/w Sec. 34 of of the I. P. Code is quashed and set aside. The criminal application is accordingly disposed of.
