Learned Counsel appearing for Respondent-Scrutiny Committee, on instructions, states that the proposal in respect caste certificate verification claim of the petitioner would be dealt with and an appropriate order will be passed within a period of four months from today.

In view of the statement made above, RespondentCommittee is directed to decide the verification claim in respect of caste certificate of the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from today. Petitioner, who is occupying the office of Member of Village Panchayat, has ben served with a notice by the Collector under Section 10(1)(A) of the Maharashtra Village Panchayat Act, 1958.

In view of the order passed by Division Bench of this Court in an identical matter i.e. Writ Petition No.3963 of 2013, we

{2} wp1216216.odt direct the Respondents not to take coercive action against the petitioner until disposal of the proposal in respect caste certificate verification claim of the petitioner, pending with the Scrutiny Committee.

With the directions as above, writ petition stands disposed of.
