We have considered the strenuous submissions of the learned Advocate for the Petitioner and the learned Counsel on behalf of the Respondents.

The learned AGP submits on instructions from the Member Secretary of the competent committee Shri V. M. Katke, that the pending claim of the Petitioner would be decided within one (01) month.

It is apparent that the committee has not complied with the directions of this Court dated 18.07.2018, passed in Writ Petition No.8079 of

2 cp 888.2018 2018. The claim of the Petitioner was to be decided by October 2018. The committee now intends to decide it by the end of September 2022. We could have taken cognizance of this contemptuous conduct of the committee. However, the learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner is not interested in seeking punishment to the Members of the committee, but an expeditious decision in the pending claim proceedings.

In view of the above, this Petition is disposed off.

The committee shall decide the claim of the Petitioner on or before 30.09.2022 and shall not seek extension of even one day. The Petitioner would wholeheartedly cooperate. As per the request of the committee, the Petitioner agrees to appear on 18.08.2022 before the Kinwat committee at 12:00 noon.
