The learned counsel submits that, the proposal has been filed for grant of alternate land as the lands of the petitioners were acquired. The proposal is forwarded to the Dy. Collector (Rehabilitation) in November-2018. No decision as yet is taken on the same. The ld. AGP accepts notice for all the respondents. 2.

It appears that the Executive Engineer has forwarded the proposal to the Dy. Collector (Rehabilitation) (Pg 23). The Dy. Collector (Rehabilitation) has asked the Executive Engineer (Minor Irrigation) to make an enquiry as to whether the petitioners can be granted the alternate land at Bhendala, Gangapur and to submit the report.

In case the report is not submitted by the Executive Engineer (Minor Irrigation) pursuant to the communication dt. 05.02.2019 (Pg. 26), then the report shall be submitted preferably within four months. On receipt of the report, the Dy. Collector (Rehabilitation) shall take decision in respect of the claim of the petitioners expeditiously, preferably within six months thereafter. 4.
