We have heard Mr Rathod, learned Counsel for the petitioner from time to time.

Today, the learned A.G.P. has placed on record the communication issued by the Commissioner, Integrated Child Development to the District Project Officer, Child Development Project Officer dated 27.2.2020 issuing directions to fill in the posts of Madatnis and Anganwadis. It is also stated that as per Government Resolution dated 17.1.2020, thirteen posts of Anganwadis are sanctioned for cantonment area in Aurangabad. 3.

The present Public Interest Litigation raises concern about not establishing the Anganwadis in cantonment area. After survey is conducted, the decision is taken to establish thirteen Anganwadis. The directions are also issued to fill in the posts of Anganwadi Sevikas and Madantnis. 4.

In light of that, the purpose of Public Interest Litigation to a large extent stands fructified. The respondents shall take effective steps for making the Anganwadis functioning.

We hope and trust that respondents shall make the Anganwadis functioning in cantonment area within a short time. 5.
