By this Writ Petition, the petitioner prays that his caste claim of belonging to 'Koli Mahadev' Scheduled Tribe is pending before the Caste Scrutiny Committee since 01.08.2014. It is further contended that despite the fact that, the said caste claim is pending before the Caste Scrutiny Committee, the employer of the petitioner has issued a show-cause notice dated 15.10.2025 by which the petitioner has been called upon, as to why the services of the petitioner should not be terminated, for non-submission of caste validity certificate. 2.

Considering the above fact, we direct the Respondent No.2/Caste Scrutiny Committee to decide the caste claim of the petitioner within a period of six months from today.

Pending the decision of the caste claim of the petitioner, the services of the petitioner should not be terminated. Furthermore, no

2 932.doc adverse action be taken against the petitioner pending the decision of the caste claim of the petitioner.
