The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, Education Department has already forwarded the proposal to the State Government recommending the 8th standard to the petitioner. The same is not yet decided.

The learned A.G.P. accepts notice for respondents.

In case, proposal seeking start of 8th standard is recommended by respondent no.2 and is pending with respondent no.1, then respondent no.1 shall decide the same on its own merits, in accordance with law and as per the policy, preferably within a period of six (06) months.
