The petitioner is aggrieved by the appointment of Administrative Board and seeking a direction to respondent No.2 - Assistant Registrar Cooperative Society to appoint a Government Officer as a Administrator in purported exercise of the powers under Section 77 (A) of the Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Act, 1960 [for short 'the said Act'], which is an appealable order under Section 152 of the said Act. 3.

Simultaneously, they are also seeking a direction to the respondent No.4 for conducting the elections. The respondent No.4, in its affidavit-inreply, has committed to conduct the election by the end of April, 2023. 1/2
