By this petition, the petitioner has challenged the order passed by the Sub-Divisional Officer under the provisions of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966.

The learned Additional Government Pleader points out that against this order, the petitioner has a remedy of appeal. The fact that remedy of appeal is available is not disputed. The petitioner seeks to contend that there has been a breach of principles of natural justice.

The Revenue Officers are entrusted with the task of resolving the disputes that arise under the provisions of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code. The Code provides an elaborate dispute resolution mechanism. Since an alternate remedy under the Code itself is available to the petitioner, it is not necessary to interfere with the impugned order.

Keeping all the contentions of the parties open, the writ petition is disposed of.

In case, the issue of delay arises, the authority will consider the time lost during pendency of this petition. N.M. Jamdar, J.
