Mr. Sabnis, the learned advocate for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner has applied under the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009, for admission from V.J. N. T. category in a school near to his residence that is Garkheda area, Aurangabad. The petitioner is below poverty line. The petitioner has lost his father when the petitioner was one and half years of age.

Mr. Ghute, the learned advocate appears for the

2 wp 13633.18 respondent/Zilla Parishad.

The petitioner has already given representation on 21st March, 2018 to the Education Officer (Primary), Zilla Parishad, Aurangabad and on 10.04.2018 to the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Aurangabad, but no decision has been taken on it as yet.

The Education Officer (Primary), Zilla Parishad, Aurangabad and the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Aurangabad shall take decision upon applications of the petitioner (page Nos. 38 and 39) expeditiously and preferably within a period of two (02) weeks from today. The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
