Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.

Limited grievance is raised in the petition. The petitioners are retired employees of Zilla Parishad, Osmanabad. They were working on the post of Civil Engineer Assistant. Representation is submitted to the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Osmanabad on 07.09.2018. Copy of the same is placed on record at Exh.H. By way of said representation these petitioners prayed for interest on the default payment. Learned counsel submitted that in identical circumstance the Division Bench of this Court in writ petition No.9054/2010 and 2868/2011 allowed the writ petitions.

Considering this fact, the petition is disposed of with direction to the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Osmanabad to decide the representation dated 07.09.2018 as expeditiously as possible and not later than 12 weeks from the date of order of this Court, if it is already not decided till date, needless to state on the merits of the representation and considering the order of the Division Bench dated 22.08.2011. We further make it clear that this Court has not made any observation on the merits of the representation and this issue of assignment of merit is left for consideration and decision by the authority namely the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Osmanabad.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
