The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that application at Exhibit-137 is filed only to delay the divorce proceedings. He submits that direction is given by this court to dispose the pending divorce proceedings in the time bound manner. This court has noticed that the marriage petition is pending for a long time i.e. from the year 2012 and, thus, by order dated 06.09.2024 in Writ Petition No.12010 of 2017 has directed the divorce proceedings to be decided in 18 months. He submits that the present application is filed to delay the proceedings. 3.

Since, the divorce proceedings are of the year 2012, the trial court to stick to the time line given by this court and endeavour shall be made to complete the proceedings within time.

2 922 Substantial time is gone by in the proceedings and all efforts shall be made to dispose of the main proceedings.

With the above observations, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.
