SEPTEMBER 30, 2025 ORDER :- Mr.Gunale, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the respondent nos.1 to 3 have not acted in accordance with the order dated 10.07.2024 and more particularly, clause 3 of the operative order, passed by the Regional Deputy Commissioner, Social Welfare Department, Latur, in Appeal No.2/2019. Mr. Gunale, learned counsel would submit that in view of the order passed by the authority, respondent nos.1 to 3 ought to have set the proposal in motion for granting administrative approval to the appointment of the petitioner and approval ought to have been granted by the concerned authority. 2.

Today, when the matter is called out, Mr.Tripathi, learned counsel for respondent nos.1 and 2, produced on record a copy of the letter dated 23.09.2025, which reveals that it is a covering letter,

29-sr926 whereby, respondent no.1 has submitted the proposal to respondent no.3, pursuant to clause 3 of the operative order dated 10.07.2024, passed by the Regional Deputy Commissioner, Social Welfare Department, Latur. Mr.Tripathi, learned counsel, would further submits that there is no lapse on the part of respondent nos.1 and 2 in discharging their duty or responsibility by submitting the proposal; and that, now, the ball is in the court of respondent no.3 to pass an appropriate order.

None appears for respondent no.3. It is pointed out by both learned counsel that on the last occasion Mr.S.B.Pulkundwar, learned counsel, had appeared for respondent no.3; but it seems that he has not filed power till today. In the circumstance, Mr.Gunale, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the present matter could be disposed of, by directing respondent no.3 to take a call on the proposal submitted by respondent nos.1 and 2 ,in respect of the petitioner's approval, within a stipulated period. 4.

In view of the above, respondent no.3 shall pass necessary order, pursuant to clause 3 of the operative part of the order dated 10.07.2024, passed by the Regional Deputy Commissioner, Social Welfare Department, Latur, within eight weeks from today. With these directions, the petition stands disposed of.
