Heard the learned advocate for the petitioner. He submits that the petitioner is an elected Gram Panchayat Member. His tribe certificate is awaiting scrutiny before the scrutiny committee. The last date for him to submit the validity certificate is 21.01.2023. 2.

Learned AGP, on instructions submits that the matter has been referred for a fresh vigilance report.

We dispose of the writ petition by requesting the scrutiny committee to make every endeavour to decide the petitioner's case if possible by 21.01.2023.
