The petitioner's proposal has been pending with the respondent - Scrutiny Committee for validation of his tribe claim but in the meanwhile respondent - employer put him to notice threatening termination on his failure to produce tribe validity certificate. Learned AGP on behalf of all the respondents submits that the Committee would decide the proposal within 16 weeks.

The writ petition is disposed of directing the Committee to decide the proposal within 16 weeks and with a further direction to respondent Nos.3 and 4 that no action shall be initiated pursuant to the impugned communication dated 21.11.2024 till 16 weeks are over.
