1] Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, so also, the learned AGP for the respondent-State. 2] The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on 13.10.2025 the respondent no.4 issued a notice to the petitioner under Section 48 (8) (2) of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966 for transportation of the sand of one brass and the vehicle of the petitioner is also seized by the authorities. He further submits that the petitioner has responded to the application along with photographs. He further submits that he has good case on merits and the vehicle of the petitioner is standing for a long period of time and the vehicle is not utilized.

13967.25WP 3] Considering his submission, the concerned authority i.e. Sub-Divisional Officer is directed to dispose of the notice dated 13.10.2025, expeditiously. If the application for release of the vehicle is not filed by the petitioner, liberty is granted to the petitioner to file application for release of the vehicle. In the event, the application for release of the vehicle is filed, the same be decided within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of the application in accordance with law. 4] With the above observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
