The Petitioner claims to be the title holder of the property at Gut No.500 in village Parali on the basis of a compromise decree dated 14.10.1988 in R.C.S. No.18/1987.

The Petitioner has tendered two applications dated 01.01.2021 and 17.08.2023 to Respondent No.3. The learned advocate representing Respondent No.3 is before us.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off. We expect Respondent No.3 to consider the representations of the Petitioner dated 01.01.2021 and 17.08.2023, within a period of 60 days and if it is noticed that

( 2 ) 920 wp 14555.23 the Petitioner has a good case as regards acquisition of his immovable property, an appropriate proposal would be forwarded to the District Collector without further delay. We make it clear that we have not expressed any opinion on the merits of the claim of the Petitioner.
