On instructions, it is stated by learned A.G.P. that the petitioner has been summoned by the Scheduled Tribe Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Nandurbar, to appear before it on 25th July, 2017.

We expect the Committee now to dispose of the proceedings within a period of three (3) months from 25th July, 2017.

The protection granted by this Court on 19th December, 2016 shall continue, till the Scrutiny Committee renders it's decision. However, no equities can be claimed by the petitioner on the basis of our direction.

We clarify that we have expressed no opinion on the rival contentions and particularly, on the validity and legality of the petitioner's appointment as a Primary Teacher from the Scheduled Tribe category. All contentions in that behalf are kept open. 5.

Writ petition is disposed of.
