The applicants are apprehending arrest in connection with Crime No.0303/2024, dated 14.10.2024, registered at Sonpeth Police Station, District Parbhani, for the offences punishable under Sections 318(4), 61(2), 111, 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. 3.
The case of the informant is that prior to 15 days, he accompanied by friends were at religious place. Six persons from Maharashtra arrived at that place. Those persons told informant that they had 2 to 3 Kilogram gold which could not be sold in Maharashtra and offered them gold on less price. They had given him 2 to 3 gold coins which were of gold. Applicants and their son repeatedly called informant
2 907 and offered price of Rs.5,000/- per gram. They called informant at Parali (Maharashtra). On 06.10.2024, at 12:30 p.m., informant and his friends went at Parali. They met applicnats. There were discussion amongst them about the sale and purchase of gold. On 11.10.2024, informant was called at Dobadi Tanda. Applicants, their sons and two unknown persons came on the spot. Applicants and co-accused offered them 750 gram gold. Informant paid Rs.37,00,000/- to applicants and took 750 gram gold coins. Informant became suspicious and checked the coins handed over to them by accused and found it fake. He alleged that, he was cheated by the accused.

It is pointed out that identical cases are pending against the applicants. The offence is serious in nature. As such, this would not be a fit case for considering the anticipatory bail application. 5.
