Learned counsel for the applicant - petitioner states that though petitioner is confirmed in the cadre of Assistant Teacher, he is not being paid salary in the pay-scale prescribed for Assistant Teacher. In the facts of case, the employer needs to be directed to make payment to the petitioner in the pay-scale prescribed for Assistant Teacher. A request made by the petitioner in that regard is accepted. 2.

Respondent - Zilla Parishad is directed to disburse the salary of the petitioner in the pay-scale prescribed for Assistant Teacher from the date of his confirmation. Arrears, if any, shall be paid within a period of eight weeks from today.
