CORAM: S.S. SHINDE AND V.K. JADHAV, JJ.

DATE : 14TH AUGUST, 2018 ORDER :

1.

Heard learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner. There is an alternate efficacious remedy available to the Petitioner under the provisions of the Right to Information Act, 2005. In that view of the matter, we are not inclined to entertain this PIL on merits. However, we make it clear that in case the Petitioner is advised to file appeal before the appellate authority under the provisions of the Right to Information Act, the time spent in prosecuting this Public Interest Litigation be kept in view while considering the prayer for condonation of delay.

2.

With the above observations the Public Interest Litigation stands dismissed.
