The grievance of the petitioner is that though an application is filed seeking appropriate directions from respondent no.3, no such order has been passed despite the petitioner sent two
2 32-wp98-17.odt reminders on 13.10.2016 and 23.11.2016. This being the only relief claimed by the petitioner, without issuing notice to the respondents, the petition can be disposed.

We direct respondent nos.2 and 3 to take appropriate decision on the application filed by the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with the provisions of law, as expeditiously as possible and preferably, within a period of six weeks from today.

With these directions, the petition stands disposed of.

It is clarified that the concerned authority may consider the relevant provisions of law and pass an order.
