On hearing learned counsel appearing for petitioner, we are inclined to dispose of present writ petition by directing respondent No. 4 to decide the representation dated 01.11.2016 made by petitioner referring to grant of increment and other consequential benefits with effect from December, 2006, as inspite of repeated communications no steps/action has been taken on such representations/communications. 2.

Writ petition is accordingly disposed of with direction to respondent No. 4 to deal with representation dated 01.11.2016 on its own merits, in accordance with law, as early as possible and preferably within a period of eight (08) weeks from today.
