Mr V.S. Panpatte, learned Advocate for petitioner submits that the petitioner has been appointed as a Shikshan Sevak from Scheduled Tribe category, after following due selection process. The application was given by the institution for filling in the post on 6.5.2016. No response was received. Thereafter, advertisement was published on 16.3.2017 and after adhering to the selection process, the petitioner was appointed as a Shikshan Sevak on 27.3.2017 and on the same day, proposal was sent for approval. The Education Officer has not yet decided it.

Though respondents no.3 and 4 are served, none appears for them.

In case the proposal seeking approval to the appointment of the petitioner (Exh.'G' Page-29) is pending with respondent no.3, then respondent no.3 shall decide the same on its own merits, expeditiously and preferably within six weeks.

The respondent no.3 shall consider the appointment of the petitioner from Scheduled Tribe category while deciding the proposal. 5.
