The applicants/original claimants seek to condone the delay of 64 days caused in filing the appeal against the award passed by the Tribunal under the provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act.

Heard Mr Chavan, learned advocate appearing for the applicants and Mr. Patil, learned advocate appearing for the respondent no.2.

Having considered the submissions and reasons as stated in paragraph nos.2 to 4 of the application, case is made out to condone the delay. Hence, civil application is allowed. Delay of 64 days caused in filing the appeal is condoned. Civil application stands disposed off.

First Appeal be registered. On registration of the appeal, issue notice to the Respondents. Mr. Patil learned advocate waives notice for respondent no.2. Notice of respondent no.1 is made returnable on 27.6.2024.
