Heard this matter for some time.

The Petitioner filled in the Directorate of Vocational Education and Training (DVET) Form for the post of 'ITI Craft Instructor' in the Government ITI, by specifically stating in the Online Application that, he is not a 'Project Affected Person' (PAP). The explanation is, that on the date the Online Application was filled and uploaded, the Petitioner did not have a certification of being 'Project Affected Person'. His father lost a portion of the land to the extent of 20 Are in Bruhat Laghu Talav, Borgaon
(2) Dhaneshwari, Mauje Dasamegaon, Tq. Vashi. A certificate was received by his father on 03/04/2023. Now, he prays that the said Form may be ignored and he may be considered from the 'Project Affected Person' category.

The learned A.G.P. submits that, such prayer of ignoring the contents of the Form, is impermissible. Though the Petitioner has applied from the 'General' category and not from the 'Project Affected Person' category, converting his form in the 'Project Affected Person' category, cannot be allowed. 4.
The Petitioner has filled in the Online Form in between 17/08/2022 and 07/09/2022.

In view of the above, we do not think that, a Writ of Mandamus can be issued to alter or modify the contents of the Applicant's Online Application Form and remove the Petitioner from the 'General' category and put him in the 'Project Affected Person' category, dehors the Rules.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is dismissed. Needless to state, there is no impediment for considering the
(3) Petitioner's Application from the 'General' category, which he has opted for.
