The petitioner's application for renewal of license to conduct a social club was rejected. Aggrieved by the said order, he preferred Writ Petition in this Court, bearing Writ Petition No. 3969 of 2016. This Court, vide order dated 5th May, 2016, was pleased to direct the respondents/authorities to decide the petitioner's application expeditiously, if such an application for license/renewal of license is made. 3.

The learned A.G.P., appearing on behalf of the respondent/State, submits that pursuant to the application for renewal of license made by the

wp12700-2016 petitioner, the Collector has given the hearing to the petitioner and the decision would be taken within two weeks.

We direct the Collector, Nanded to take decision on the application of the petitioner for license/renewal of license on merit and in accordance with law, after taking into consideration the contentions of the petitioner.

With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
