Mr. Godhamgaonkar, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the divorced daughter of deceased Krishna Guru Swami. The decree of divorce is passed on 01.08.2018. The petitioner is entitled for secondary family pension as per the special circular issued by the Government of India. The learned counsel submits that the petitioner has approached the respondents on 19.09.2018 for grant of secondary family pension. The respondents have not taken any cognizance of the same.

We have also heard Mr. Rathi, learned counsel for respondent Nos. 2 and 3.

In case, application of the petitioner for grant of secondary family pension (Exhibit-D, page no. 21) is pending with respondent Nos. 2 and 3, then the competent authority shall take decision upon the application of the petitioner (Exhibit-D) expeditiously and preferably within a period of four (04) months from today. 4.

Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
