The petitioner's application for return of the property seized in connection with crime in question has been pending before the trial Court since March 2019. It is informed that prosecution has given no objection to allow the said application.

The trial Court i.e. Special Court for trial of offences under MCOCA is directed to decide the petitioner's application below Exh.8 and Exh.124 on their own merits within a time frame of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Criminal writ petition stands disposed of accordingly.
