The Petitioner's husband passed away on 7.11.2021. The Petitioner widow made representations for seeking compassionate appointment with the Zilla Parishad, Jalgaon. The said representations, dated 12.5.2022 and 15.6.2022, are pending with the Zilla Parishad.

In view of the above, this Petition is disposed off. 3.

We direct Respondent No.4 to consider the representations of the Petitioner in accordance with the policies applicable, for the post to which the Petitioner is eligible. If eligible, her name should be included in the list of eligible candidates for compassionate appointment and depending upon the seniority of the first application, going by it's date 12.5.2022, appropriate orders for granting compassionate appointment, in absence of any legal impediment, be passed.
