By way of this petition, the petitioners are claiming contempt of the order of this court dated 04.04.2022.

We have carefully considered the order. A request was made on the premise that the first petitioner's reference under Section 18 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 was not being forwarded by the Special Land Acquisition Officer to the Civil Court, albeit his brother' s application was so forwarded.

Learned AGP has tendered across the bar a copy of communication which is marked "X-1", whereby the Land Acquisition Officer had informed about petitioner's application having been forwarded to the Civil Court.

In fact, there is no direction about which a breach can be complained of. It is not the version of the petitioners that the statement made across the bar and the contents of the communication marked "X-1" are false.

It is sheer abuse of the process of court and wastage of valuable time in filing such petition without any substance. It is dismissed with costs of Rs.5,000/- to be deposited by the petitioners in this court within four weeks, else, those shall be recovered as arrears of land revenue.
