Heard. Perused the allegations in the first information report. 2.

The contention of the learned counsel appearing for the applicant is that, the applicant has only signed the notarised document as witness, and he is not a person against whom alleged offences are disclosed, therefore, FIR deserves to be quashed. 3.

Prima facie, it appears from the allegations in the FIR that huge amount was taken from the various persons including informant by giving assurance in writing that the said amount would be returned to them after receiving the grants from the Government. It is further alleged that though there is written assurance, however, said amount is not returned and informant and other persons from whom amount is
