The petitioner claims to be Association of Kerosene Hawkers in Latur. The Collector of Latur has decided to make an inquiry in respect of all license holders to whom licenses have been issued. For that purpose, he has asked them to produce original licenses which were granted in 1980 and thereafter. Apprehension of the petitioner is that in case of some members, original license is not available and the record which was available with the Supply Department has been destroyed.

The petitioner may persuade the Collector and give his explanation to him. In case, any of the members of the petitioner - Association tenders explanation for non-production of original license, the Collector shall consider all material on record and decide each individual case on its own merits and in accordance with law.

With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
